Hunter Biden breaks his silence on Tapper

(Exclusive.) Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson's Biden book “Original Sin” has been getting wall-to-wall media coverage – particularly on CNN – where Tapper’s own show The Lede has been turned into a non-stop infomercial for the book. 

But, we have learned, there are multiple issues burbling under the surface, despite Tapper hiring Scandal PR's own Risa Heller. For example, Thompson, we are told, did most of the heavy reporting. He had been shopping a Biden book for months but was having difficulty finding a publisher. Tapper’s name secured a deal with Penguin Random House. Then there are questions over the fact checking process that we examine below.

And we have managed to clear up perhaps the most fraught topic of all between the Bidens and Tapper: did Tapper call Hunter Biden wanting a scoop as his brother Beau lay dying of brain cancer?
