It was 2023, and Breaker was the Editor-at-Large of the Daily Beast and helmed a newsletter called Confider (eagle-eyed Breaker readers will know Confider was the first iteration of this newsletter).
We had reported about a series of previously undisclosed meetings between Wolff and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. We also authored a column noting inaccuracies in his book The Fall: The End of Fox News and the Murdoch Dynasty.

Piers On The Breaker Pod: Murdoch, Trump and YouTube
(Exclusive.) Never one to back away from a controversial opinion or debate, the man, the myth, the mouthpiece, British journalist Piers Morgan, is this week’s guest on The Breaker Pod.
Morgan launched his successful Piers Morgan Uncensored YouTube channel in February 2024, and he’s recently released a new book, Woke is Dead: How Common Sense Triumphed in an Age of Total Madness.
As a journo who’s worked in print and TV for decades, Breaker asked for his take on the current state of the media industry.
“There was this frenzied move to do what they call DEI, which I think ended up placing a premium on mediocrity over meritocracy. I just think you should always just appoint the best people for the best job, regardless of skin color or any other considerations.”
Morgan was the youngest editor at the Murdoch-owned News of the World at just 28, beginning a relationship with Rupert Murdoch that would span three decades.
