The search for Vanity Fair’s Pope Leo

On Monday night Vanity Fair staff and contributors gathered at Yves, a chic French restaurant in Tribeca, to say farewell to editor-in-chief Radhika Jones. 

It was well-attended, and the bar was open. But with uncertainty about what comes next for the magazine as the search for a global editor-in-chief enters its second month, those in attendance mostly wondered when white smoke would finally billow from Conde’s One World Trade headquarters to announce that VF has a new conduit to God (or Anna Wintour).
